To help foster Junior Tennis at a global level, contribute to the local tennis community (Koeki-activity) and to promote YC&AC membership, YC&AC hosted JOP Junior tournament on Feb 19th Sunday. The weather was windy but the tournament was a great success with over 55 junior players registered to play from across the Kanto region, representing the YC&AC and other neighboring tennis clubs. Participants enjoyed playing tennis as well as absorbing the ambience and friendly welcome of the Club.
From YC&AC Tennis Academy, Akane Masuko, Ally Saito, Riku Kurioiwa and Shota Miyamoto participated. Akane was the winner for Girls 14 and under Singles section. Congratulations!
This tournament would not have been possible without the support of coaches and our volunteer Club members who all kindly helped throughout the day to support the smooth running of the tournament.
