Congratulations to Terry Potticary, who on Sunday July 9 won the Bowls Japan Kanto Region Men’s Singles Tournament held at YC&AC and thus qualifies for the national finals to be held in Kobe later this year. Unfortunately no other YC&AC bowlers were able to finish in the qualifying positions, with no fewer than three of our bowlers, each of them group winners, stumbling in the crucial qualifying round. In the absence of a trophy or even a medal for this competition, Terry instead lifted a beer tower, and shared it among all the participants and support staff. Nice one, Terry.
