Over the weekend of April 4th to 6th, the Yokohama Country & Athletic Club (YC&AC) Masters team proudly represented Japan at the Singapore Cricket Club (SCC) International Soccer 7s tournament, held at the historic Padang in Singapore.

This year’s tournament saw a record-breaking 82 teams compete across seven categories, bringing together a vibrant mix of international talent and football legends. YC&AC joined the action in the fiercely competitive Masters division, continuing the Club’s tradition of international camaraderie and competitive spirit.

Adding to the excitement of the weekend, YC&AC was thrilled to receive a signed photo of football legend Jorge Burruchaga, the Argentine World Cup hero who famously scored the winning goal in the 1986 final. While it wasn’t part of an official presentation, the signed memorabilia is a treasured keepsake for the team and a special memento from a memorable weekend of football.

The SCC Soccer 7s remains a highlight of the regional football calendar, and YC&AC looks forward to future participation and continued connection with the global football community.
