We would like to congratulate our Tennis Academy Students for their remarkable achievements during the ATF Juniors in Japan U14 held last week.
Saki Shimizu (YC&AC) and Natsuki Harada (YITC) became the doubles champions after defeating the No 4 Seed duo Mathea Heje (Norway) and Ling Sum Kana Leung (Hong Kong), 6-7(7), 6-4, 11-9, in the finals last Saturday.
In singles action, Saki Shimizu defeats Akane Masuko for 3rd place, 5-4(4), 2-4, 4-2 after both falling short to play in the Finals.
Ally Saito fought hard against Saki Shimizu in the Quarterfinals (7-5, 6-3) being one of the final eight girls standing in action.
We’re hoping they can fight for the Championship in the upcoming tournaments!
