Tennis Otoshidama 2025

Continuing an annual tradition now in its sixth year, the tennis community celebrated Otoshidama with a complimentary coaching session generously offered by our esteemed YC&AC coaches. This year’s event took place on January 13th, coinciding with Seijin no Hi (‘Coming of Age’). Over 30 tennis members participated in the two-hour session, held from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, and expertly led by Milos, Yoshio, and Chiaki.
The event was seamlessly organized, utilizing all four clay courts. Participants honed various aspects of their game, including volleys, rallies, lobs, approach shots, drop shots, and smashes. The morning was filled with energy, learning, and fun, leaving everyone with smiles.
A heartfelt thank you to our coaches—Milos, Yoshio, and Chiaki (ably assisted by hubby). We are deeply grateful for their time and expertise.
Special thanks also go to Chiaki for bringing gifts donated by Derit Tech, a company specializing in high-performance sportswear. Five lucky winners from spirited rounds of ‘Jankenpon’ were delighted to receive one of the company’s products. Thank you everyone for your participation and a very Happy New Year to you all.
